Extremely disappointing experience and far below the standard I would expect from a healthcare facility.

I visited this clinic to receive Venofer 100 mg IV iron, and unfortunately, the overall experience was extremely disappointing, particularly in terms of communication, professionalism, and patient care.

My experience with Dr. Awatif was especially unpleasant. Her manner of communication and the way she spoke to me were, in my opinion, extremely inappropriate and unprofessional for a healthcare setting.

When I asked about the very slow infusion rate, her response was essentially: “If you don’t want to take the medication, go somewhere else and have them give it to you. This is how I administer the medication to my patients.”

I found this response extremely rude and dismissive. As a patient, I have every right to ask questions about the medication and treatment I am receiving. A patient should be given a clear medical explanation and treated with respect—not made to feel that they are being difficult simply for asking a reasonable question.

I was receiving Venofer 100 mg, and the infusion took approximately two hours. I have received IV iron before, so I was surprised by how slowly it was being administered. If there was a specific medical reason or clinic protocol requiring the infusion to be given over this period, this should have been explained to me clearly and professionally.

What concerned me even more was what the nursing staff told me. They said they were afraid to increase the infusion rate because they could potentially lose their jobs, and that a nurse had previously been dismissed for the same reason. Hearing this as a patient was extremely concerning and made the entire experience even more uncomfortable.

The nursing experience itself was also disappointing, as there was difficulty inserting the IV cannula, which added unnecessary discomfort and stress to the visit.

To be clear, my complaint is not simply about the infusion taking two hours. My concern is the overall way the situation was handled—the lack of clear communication, the dismissive attitude, the manner in which my questions were answered, and the apparent fear among the nursing staff.

Healthcare is not only about administering medication. Patients deserve to feel safe, respected, listened to, and properly informed.

I strongly hope the management takes this feedback seriously and reviews both the patient experience and the way staff are being managed.

Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not recommend this clinic and I will think twice before returning.

I had a very positive experience at this stanford medical center. The service was excellent, and the staff were professional, friendly, and very helpful. The center is clean, well-organized, and comfortable. I especially appreciated the excellent follow-up and the way the team continued to check on me and make sure everything was going well. One of the best medical centers in Abudhabi. Also Dr Mohammad Hesham is one of the best therapists I have met, he is very professional and experienced.

Dr. Bassel Tawfik is truly an excellent gynecologist, and his nurse, Kimo, is incredibly helpful and always follows up with me.
