Stanford Medical Center Abu Dhabi signed a strategic memorandum of understanding with the Zayed Authority for People of Determination to develop and provide specialized mental health, assessment, and comprehensive rehabilitation services according to the highest international standards.
The collaboration includes providing advanced psychological and cognitive assessments, diagnosing psychological and developmental disorders, designing individualized treatment plans, and offering ongoing follow-up with family participation. It also encompasses implementing training and awareness programs for families and teachers, and launching research initiatives to raise awareness of psychological challenges. The partnership extends to supporting the employment and professional integration of people of determination through job readiness assessments and the provision of psychological support and vocational rehabilitation with customized plans for each individual case.
